  • Guyafor is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Régina St Georges covers a 14ha area. It is composed of one plot managed by ONF. 8587 trees are being followed since 2003. 5 campaignes of inventories have been made in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009.

  • Guyafor is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Montagne Tortue covers a 19,2ha area. It is composed of 3 plots managed by ONF. 9210 trees are being followed. 5 campaignes of inventories have been made in 2002, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010.

  • The Nouragues forestry experimental site is located the Nouragues experimental station in French Guiana (other experimental sites than Nouragues plots are established in Nouragues station). This experimental site is composed by several plots not contiguous, some of them are divided into smaller plots (1ha). For each plot, the following information is recorded for all trees and lianas with DBH ≥ 10cm : 1. location of individuals inside the plot, 2. botanical identification (when it is possible), 3. diameter at breast height, or 30 cm above last aerial root, last buttress or last irregularity, 4. total height of tree (subsample). Since 2012, on Grand Plateau and Petit Plateau : 1. coefficient of light exposure 2. coefficient of infestation by lianas in tree crown.

  • Guyafor is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Acarouany (Javouhey) covers 6ha. It is composed of one plot, managed by CIRAD. 2872 trees are being followed. A first inventory campaign has been made in 2006, a second one in 2008, and a third one in 2012.

  • Guyafor is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Laussat covers a 4ha area. It is composed of one plot, managed by CIRAD. 2334 trees are being followed. A first inventory has been made in 2009

  • Guyafor is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Risquetout covers a 23,7ha area. It is composed of 4 plots managed by ONF. 7174 trees are being followed since 1995. 9 campaignes of inventories have been made in 1995, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009.

  • Guyadiv is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Borne frontière n°1 is composed of 3 1ha-plots. A complete inventory has been made in 2006. 645, 630 and 661 trees with dbh > 10cm have been inventoried on each plot. 641, 625 and 655 species have been identified respectivement on each plot. 99,4%, 99,2% and 99,1% of the trees have been determined until species. We only have the point coordinates and not the precise demarcation of the sample plots. In order to calculate the bounding box for these plots, we have expanded the point location 300 meters in each direction.

  • Guyadiv is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Crique Cacao is composed of two plots (20x530m and 20x200m). A complete inventory has been made in 1987, 662 trees with dbh >= 10cm have been inventoried. In the first plot, 433 species have been determined and 193 in the second plot. The percentages of trees identified to the species level are respectively 93.7% and 96.5% for each plot. We only have the point coordinates and not the precise demarcation of the sample plots. In order to calculate the bounding box for these plots, we have expanded the point location 500 meters in each direction.

  • The Paracou Research Station encompasses 5000 ha of tropical rain forest near Sinnamary, French Guiana, and is accessible by paved road. The site includes several types of forest plots, each with unique research objectives. Logging Plots: Fifteen nine-hectare plots (numberred 1 to 15) were established in 1984 to study the impact of different logging treatments on tropical tree population structure. This zone is reserved exclusively for studies investigating the impact of the different logging treatments on forest populations. Primary Forest Plot: A 25 hectare plot (no. 16) was established in 1991 for studies of undisturbed forest. Researchers whose interests are unrelated to the effects of logging treatments are encouraged to conduct their work in this plot. Clearcut Plot: a 6.25 ha plot (no. 17) was established in 1989 at a nearby reserve along the road to St. Elie to study the effects of clearcutting on tropical forest dynamics

  • Guyadiv is a network of permanent forest plots installed in French Guiana. The site of Crique Passoura is composed of one 1ha-plot. A complete inventory has been made in 1992, with the registration of 988 trees. 962 species have been identified. 97.4% of trees registred have been identified to the species level. We only have the point coordinates and not the precise demarcation of the sample plot. In order to calculate the bounding box for the plots, we have expanded the point location 100 meters in each direction.
