  • WMS service contains information on geophysical measurements, layers of gravimetry and seismic vertical electric sounding (VES) on the territory of the Czech Republic.

  • WMS service provides the access to basic information on mineral deposits and prognosticated resources in the territory of the Czech Republic, protected areas of mineral deposits, protected territories for special intervention into the Earth’s crust, exploration areas and mining leases.

  • WMS service displays the Radiometric field map of the Czech Republic 1:500,000 (M. Manová, M. Matolín, 1995). This map was published by the Czech Geological Survey in the Atlas of map of the Czech Republic (GEOCR500) in 1998. Data on the gamma dose rate of rocks are based on regional and detailed airborne measurement of terrestrial radiation. The data of the map illustrate the regional distribution of natural radionuclides in rocks in the Czech Republic.

  • WMS service contains data from a gravity survey of the entire of the Czech Republic at the scale of 1:200,000 and 1:25,000; the detailed scale survey nearly 70 % of the Czech Republic area.

  • WMS service contains records of Historical mining maps stored in the archive CGS in Kutná Hora.

  • WMS Service displays key information on areas where underground mining or mineral exploration was undertaken in the past. It provides warnings about areas where subsidence or other hazards may occur due to the presence of underground spaces.

  • WMS service contains information on individual underground mine workings. According to Section 8, §10 of the Law No. 61/1988 Coll. on mining operations, explosives and State Mining Administration, as amended, this includes all mine workings with an end open to the earth’s surface and development workings that open a reserved deposit or its integrated part.

  • WMS service shows the localization of Vertical electrical sounding (VES) measuring points of selected campaigns, registered in the Czech Republic since 1957.

  • WMS Radon Risk Map of the Bedrock at 1 : 500 000 scale. WMS shows the prevailing radon index of different types of bedrock: 1. Low (Mesozoic and Tertiary sediments), 2. Intermediate (Quaternary sediments), 3. Medium ( Metamorphic rocks and Palaeozoic sediments), 4. High (Magmatic rocks, except for the Pre-Variscan granitoids – medium index), 5. Tectonic features, 6. Boundaries of regions

  • A WMS service provides the access to basic information on mineral deposits and prognosticated resources in the territory of the Czech Republic, protected areas of mineral deposits, protected territories for special intervention into the Earth’s crust, exploration areas and mining leases.
