The period simulated is since January-2008 until December-2010. SKIRON long-term simulation is launched to cover the entire 3 years, generating hourly maps to the entire simulated period. With this output Africa wind map is computed averaging 10 meters wind speed from the nine years. Typically the grid horizontal resolution is 0.1 x 0.1 and has 38 vertical levels
