  • A dataset showing the locations of the boreholes where monthly projected recharge values are calculated. Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the monthly projected values. Values are best used for guidance only.

  • A dataset showing the locations of the boreholes where time series of recharge values (mm/year) are calculated using multiple recharge calculation tools. Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the time series of recharge values if available. Models are driven by rainfall and potential evaporation and calibrated using either time series of groundwater levels or flow discharges at a gauging station or both depending on the tool. Please refer to tool used to identify if the recharge calculated is actual or potential recharge. The aim of applying multiple tools is to address the uncertainty in the calculated recharge. Values are best used for guidance only.

  • A national scale map that shows yearly LTA potential recharge values (mm/year) calculated over France. Values are calculated at daily time step and averaged over the period 1981 – 2010 The map presents the mean yearly potential groundwater recharge (refers to the part of the precipitation not stored in the soil, nor used by the vegetation) that infiltrates to potentially reach the aquifers calculated over the period 1981-2010 and at the spatial scale of 8 x 8 km grid cells and provided in mm/years

  • A national scale map that shows yearly LTA potential recharge values (mm/year) calculated over the Netherlands. Values are averaged over the period 1981 to 2010

  • A national scale map that shows yearly LTA potential recharge values (mm/year) calculated over Great Britain mainland using the simplified FAO method driven by rainfall and potential evaporation data over the period 1980 to 2010

  • A dataset showing the locations of the boreholes where LTA recharge values are calculated together with percentile values to address uncertainty. Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the LTA values (mm/year) and the corresponding percentile values. Values are best used for guidance only.

  • A dataset showing the locations of the boreholes where long term average recharge values (mm/year) are calculated using multiple recharge calculation tools. Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the LTA recharge calculated using one or more than one tool.

  • A national scale map that shows yearly LTA actual recharge values (mm/year) calculated over Spain. The Recharge for the reference period (1980-2010) were calculated at yearly scale by using an empirical rainfall-recharge model (Pulido Velazquez et al., 2018).
