The map illustrates basic components of geological environment, that is classified on the basis of similarity or homogenity of that signs, which have meaning from point of construction geology, engineering geology and geotechnics. In case of rocks and soils it is mainly lithological composition, similar index, geomechanical or geophysical characteristics, while f.e. stratigraphy (age) is put down. These similar rocks are aggregated into zones with same or similar engineering geological characteristics. There are 18 zones altogether on the map.

Landslides dataset generated as the INSPIRE layer from the Slope Instability Register, which contains basic data of registered and verified slope instabilities in the Czech Republic (landslides, solifluction, rock falls, etc.).
-
INSPIRE View Service provides access to mapped landslides in the Czech Republic.

Website of the project "CO2-SPICER - CO2 Storage Pilot in a Carbonate Reservoir" (2021 -2004). If the overall objective is successfully achieved, it will be the first CO2 storage pilot project in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, the CO2-SPICER project will significantly increase the technological readiness level of CO2 geological storage in the Czech Republic and, at the same time, represent a significant step towards the deployment of the CCS technology in Central Europe.

INSPIRE Download Service (ATOM feed) provides access to mapped landslides in the Czech Republic.

SDE database of Slope instability register contains basic data of registered and authenticated slope instabilities (landslides, solifluction, rock falls, etc.). Landslides are classified as active, suspended and stabilized. Database is based on verified mapping in 1 : 10,000 and landslide description and photodocumentation. Data actuality, professionality and its processing is maintained by experts from CGS.

Website of theproject "Research on a thermally loaded rock - perspectives of underground thermal energy storage" (2011-2014). The aim of the project was to study the thermal energy flow in the rock environment built of granitic rocks, both in terms of efficiency as well as safety.
