Gridded bathymetric data along the ultraslow spreading Southwest Indian Ridge between the Indomed and Gallieni transform faults

This grid was obtained by merging multibeam bathymetric data from several french cruises along the Southwest Indian Ridge from the Indomed to the Gallieni Transform Faults. The spatial resolution is about 150 m. This dataset was used in several scientific papers.

Statement
The multibeam bathymetric data of the Gallieni cruise were collected with the SIMRAD EM12D echo sounder on board the R/V L’Atalante in 1995. Those of the VIGO, OISO6, SWIFT and SWIFT BIS-CARHOT cruises were collected with the TSM 5265B echo sounder of the R/V Marion Dufresne 2001-2004.
