Statement

This data set results from several research and exploitation studies conducted and produced by URGM-LNEG and by private companies. The result of these studies was aggregated and validated and afterwards inserted into a database related to Non-metallic mineral resources of Portugal. The data quality of the data set is of the responsibility of LNEG. The elaboration of the data set related to “Non-metallic mineral resources of Portugal” has its origin in the partial information: areas of exploitation and research, local studies and LNEG internal information. The data set results from the overlaying of that partial information.
