NGU Geologiske farer - Stenskreds susceptibilitet i Norge

Stenskreds susceptibilitet datasættet viser potentielle kildeområder for stenskred. Trigger område - område, hvor stenskred kan forekomme. Runout område - område, der er ramt af et stenskred når et stenskred forekommer. Kortene er sammensat ved hjælp af en computer model, der er baseret på de mulige kilde områder for stenskred baseret på skråningen på bjergets side og geologisk information. Fra hvert stenskreds kildeområde beregnes automatisk sandsynligheden baseret på en DEM og relevante geologiske oplysninger. Det er ikke gjort noget inden undersøgelsen i udarbejdelsen af kortene.

The maps are composed using a computer model that recognizes the possible source areas/trigger areas of rockfall based on the slope on the mountain side and geological information. From each source area/trigger area the runout area for rockfall are calculated automatically. It's not done any field survey in preparing the maps.
