Statement

The compilation was conducted by Patrícia Amorim and Fernando Tempera at the Department of Oceanography and Fisheries/University of the Azores, inside the MeshAtlantic project. There have been identified 7 bottom type categories: Rock; Mud; Sand; Coarse sediment; Mixed sediments; Sandy mud; Muddy sand. Data is not to be used for navigation purposes.
